About
Marine mammal trainers train animals in their care for a range of purposes: for educational shows and demonstrations that showcase animals to allow people to develop a better understanding of marine life; for featuring in film and television productions; or to make it safer and easier for veterinarians to collect medical samples, perform exams, and administer medications.
Marine mammal trainers may work in aquariums, zoos, university research laboratories, private companies, government research laboratories or marine stations.
