Arbitration is a form of alternative dispute resolution to resolve disputes outside the courts. Arbitrators are responsible for overseeing an arbitration process. Their role is to examine facts and decide the issue at hand. A dispute can be decided by one or more arbitrators, which renders an "arbitration award" - a legally binding and enforceable decision.
