About
Architectural Drafters prepare technical drawings of architectural designs and plans for buildings and structures. Drafters often work with CAD (computer-aided design) software, as well as sketching ideas by hand. A drafter is responsible for designing and overseeing the creation of structural, electrical, and mechanical designs, bearing in mind site requirements, building codes, and other laws and regulations.
