Media Planner
About
Media planners produce action plans for advertising campaigns based on pre-defined marketing objectives. They work with clients to help them make decisions about how a particular media campaign will unfold, and select media platforms that best suit the brand or product that will be advertised. Platforms include television, outdoor, internet, radio, print, and direct mail. Data analysis is becoming a more important part of a media planner's role, particularly as much of advertising moves online.
