Bioregenerative support systems are artificial ecosystems consisting of many complex symbiotic relationships among higher plants, animals, and microorganisms. They're particularly useful for outer space environments where it's beneficial to replicate the Earth's biosphere. An integrator is responsible for ensuring each element of the ecosystem connects and adapts as expected.
