Public administration has no universally accepted definition because the scope of the subject is vast, and also differs by region, country, and government. However, an effective way to define it is as is the implementation of government policy: dealing with the stewardship and implementation of the products of a living democracy, such as laws, schools, security, prisons, and other services and programs.
