Tool and Die Maker
About
Humans have used tools for thousands of years for manufacturing, cooking, construction, repairing and a whole host of other uses.
Tool and die makers set up and operate machine tools to craft and manufacture precision parts, instruments, and tools. Most of the tools they use are computer or mechanically controlled, but they may also use hand tools to produce and refine prototypes or models.
Many of today's tool and die makers use computer software to help create accurate blueprints and programs that can be sequenced for a cutting tool to execute.
