T-Shirt Designer

About

The first t-shirts were worn back in the 19th century when laborers would cut their jumpsuits in half to keep cool in the summer.

It wasn't until the middle of the 20th century that the t-shirt really took off though; rebellious film stars like Marlon Brando and James Dean helped make the t-shirt a fashion staple.

From those plain white numbers, today's t-shirts feature all kinds of graphic designs. T-Shirt Designers create apparel designs, logo designs, brand identity, and graphic production & design for all sorts of projects. They prepare artwork for printing, manage creative libraries, create art mockups and color separations, and be involved in picking out garment materials that fit their designs best.

Facilitation: What is a Neutral Stance and Why is it Important?close

Practitioners create a space for the people they are helping, and let them bring the content (rather than a teacher or mentor whose job it is to impart education and information). An impartial stance means being in a place of non-judgement, of holding a space of psychological safety, and maintaining an equal voice to all those taking part.
