About
Mine inspectors are a key part of the global mining and quarrying industry. They inspect sites to ascertain compliance with contractual agreements and with health and safety laws: look out for defective electrical and mechanical equipment; test air quality for any toxic or explosive gas or dust; instruct mine workers in safety and first aid procedures; ensure workers and managers are operating within the bounds of local working time regulations and mining production limits.
